Peanut Pet Shelter Named Official S.P.C.A. of Playa del Carmen At Peanut Pet Shelter, Humane Society of Playa del Carmen, we are committed to moving forward in our fight to create a better life for sick, starving, injured and homeless animals. We have been overwhelmed by the love and care shown to poor Oscar. Sadly however, he is but one of so very many. Simply overwhelming too has been the number of people voting and continuing to vote for Peanut Pet Shelter in The Animal Rescue Site Shelter Challenge.  So many people have joined ‘Team Peanut’ in our goal to make a difference. More people than ever before are giving up their precious vacation time to share their loving care with our wonderful animals. Our Board member Ciaron Lewis became a ‘voice’ for two beautiful much loved dogs who are being persecuted by those who have forgotten the gift that is brought to us by ‘Man’s best friend’. We cannot change the world but we can make a difference – one step at a time. Our work will never be done. Our work is difficult and often heartbreaking. Our joy comes from the full bellies of those who were starving, the healed wounds of the beaten and mutilated and the look of love in the eyes of those who previously viewed their lives as hopeless. Our joy too comes from those of you who stand shoulder to shoulder with us in our fight to save these sweet, pure souls. Your commitment to Peanut Pet Shelter brings tears to our eyes and makes our spirits sing. We want you, our supporters and the rest of the animal loving world to know the depth of our commitment. We are Sharing, Pro-active, Caring, Animal lovers Our Shared goal is an end to Pain, Cruelty and Abuse Our Society is Passionate in its Commitment to Animal welfare Peanut Pet Shelter - S.P.C.A. of Playa del Carmen Peanut Pet Shelter has met the requirements as outlined by the International S.P.C.A. to be the official S.P.C.A. for the region. We are still Peanut Pet Shelter, Humane Society of Playa del Carmen. We are also S.P.C.A. Playa del Carmen as a sign of our ongoing commitment to animal welfare.
